A notebook-inspired component system built as standards-based custom elements with thin React and Astro integrations.
About the project
I conceived, designed, and built Caderno UI from scratch as a framework-agnostic interface system. Its canonical Lit custom elements expose typed events, tokens, slots, CSS properties, and shadow parts, while thin React and Astro layers reuse the same behavior. Accessibility, keyboard interaction, resilient pre-upgrade content, documentation, compatibility testing, and package releases are part of the system rather than downstream additions.
